What does BCPA mean?

Board Certified Patient Advocate

The BCPA (Board Certified Patient Advocate) credential represents a significant achievement for individuals who have dedicated themselves to mastering the complexities of the healthcare system.

By successfully passing the official certification exam, these professionals demonstrate their exceptional abilities and readiness to guide patients and their families through various challenges on their healthcare journey.

According to the Patient Advocate Certification Board, when you see the BCPA initials following someone's name, you can be assured that they have earned a prestigious designation, reflecting their commitment to excellence in patient advocacy.

This valuable credential was thoughtfully developed by the Patient Advocate Certification Board (PACB), ensuring that advocates are well-equipped to provide the support and expertise necessary for navigating the healthcare landscape.
